You need a verified domain and a confirmed sender before you can send. See Domains and senders.
The flow
1
Write the email
In the editor. Start from scratch, from a template you already have, from imported HTML, or ask the copilot by describing what you want to say.
2
Personalize it
Use
{{first_name}} in the subject and the greeting. It’s one email for the whole audience; each person gets theirs with their own data. See Editor variables.3
Pick the audience
A segment. You can see how many contacts it holds before confirming.
4
Send yourself a test
Before you pull the trigger. This is the step that saves the most grief: a broken link or an image that won’t load shows up in two seconds.
5
Send or schedule
Right now, or at a date and time.
States
A scheduled campaign can be cancelled or rescheduled as long as it hasn’t started. One that already started can be paused, but whatever went out has gone out.
Results
Each campaign shows delivered, opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes, and lets you drill into activity contact by contact: who opened, who clicked, who bounced and why.Open rate is an undercount. It depends on the mail client loading an image, and several of them (Apple Mail included) preload or block it. Clicks are the reliable signal.
